Meet Coach Kenny

Coach Kenny was raised in Pinconning, MI, as the oldest boy cousin in a crew of more than 50 cousins. He was often the babysitter in charge — and what did they do? They played ball. Wiffle ball, basketball, football… it didn’t matter. There were always enough kids for a backyard tournament.

Today, Coach Kenny pours that same energy into coaching kids and senior citizens at his 16,000 square foot baseball and softball training center in Ortonville, MI, a northern suburb of Detroit. He’s coached hundreds of players through private lessons, group clinics, and as a coach of one of the teams in his 20‑team travel baseball and softball organization, the Michigan Blackhawks.

At Baseball Capital, Coach Kenny has one rule: Be Loving. Every swing, every rep, every game starts there.
