Only 6 team spots. Build your squad and swing for glory!

Ghost and Glory HitTRax 4v4 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2026 | ACTION STARTS AT 10 AM $150 per team | 2-6 players | 3-game guarantee | First 6 teams 1695 South Ortonville Road, Ortonville, Michigan REVIEW DRAFT: Event details are confirmed. House rules below are proposed for organizer review; unresolved settings and policies are listed on page 2. 1 | Eligibility, registration & check-in • Girls eligible for the 12U division may participate. The organizer will publish the age cutoff before registration is finalized. • Each team registers 2-6 players and one adult team contact. Each player may be on only one tournament roster. • Proposed spot-reservation policy: complete registration and the $150 team payment to secure a spot. The event is limited to the first 6 completed registrations. • A parent or guardian must complete a facility waiver for every player. Submit player names and finalize the roster before the first game. • Arrive 30 minutes before your first scheduled game. At least 2 rostered players must be ready to play. Late arrivals and forfeits are handled by the director under the published event policy. 2 | Game format & batting order • Games are 6 innings. Each team receives a 3-game guarantee. Final game times and any time-limit procedure must be announced before play. • All participating players bat in a continuous order. Submit the order before each game and keep it unchanged during that game. Smaller rosters rotate more frequently; there are no extra outs for a smaller roster. • Players hit against pitching machines. HitTrax handles recorded batted-ball outcomes, virtual defense, baserunner advancement and scoring. Players do not physically run bases or field the ball. • Use the same announced softball skill level, virtual field and defensive settings for all teams. Proposed rule: no bunting. 3 | Pitching machines & tracking errors • Staff announces the machine speed, distance, ball type and count settings before the event. Settings remain consistent for both teams and across cages; only authorized staff may feed or adjust machines. • Balls, strikes, fouls, walks and strikeouts follow the announced system configuration. Staff corrects obvious machine or tracking errors. • An obviously unhittable machine/feed error may be called a no-pitch and replayed without changing the count. A batted ball that is not recorded is reviewed immediately; if no reliable result exists, replay with the prior count and baserunner situation. • Raise a suspected error before the next pitch. Valid recorded outcomes stand. Stop the machine and wait for staff permission before collecting balls. GHOST & GLORY 12U FASTPITCH SHOWDOWN Indoor HitTrax Tournament | Rules & Regulations Baseball Capital | baseball-capital.com | training@baseball-capital.com 2 / 2 4 | Recommended bracket for 6 teams • Two pools of three teams. Each team plays the other two teams in its pool, giving every team 2 pool games. • The top two teams in each pool advance: Pool A #1 vs. Pool B #2, and Pool B #1 vs. Pool A #2. Semifinal winners play for the championship. • The third-place team in each pool plays a placement game against the other pool's third-place team. Every team therefore plays at least 3 games; finalists play 4. • If fewer than 6 teams enter, publish a revised schedule that preserves the 3-game guarantee. Confirm cage configuration before scheduling simultaneous games. 5 | Standings, home team & ties • Proposed seeding: winning percentage (ties count as half a win), then head-to-head when exactly two tied teams played each other, then run differential capped at +/-8 per game, fewest runs allowed, and a director-supervised random draw. For a three-team tie, begin with capped run differential. • Proposed home-team selection: coin flip in pool play; higher seed in bracket play, with a coin flip for equal seeds. • Pool games may end tied. Semifinal, championship and placement games tied after 6 innings continue through complete extra innings until a winner is determined. Allow schedule time for extra innings. 6 | Equipment, safety & sportsmanship • Wear a properly fitted batting helmet with face guard and athletic shoes. No metal cleats. Bring an undamaged fastpitch softball bat; permitted certifications must be confirmed by the organizer. • Only the active batter and authorized staff may enter the live hitting area. No practice swings in walkways or spectator areas. Do not move machines, screens, mats or HitTrax equipment. • Keep food and drinks out of hitting areas. Report injuries or unsafe equipment immediately. No taunting, abusive language, thrown equipment or unsafe conduct. • Only the adult team contact discusses rulings with staff. The director makes final event rulings and may remove participants or spectators for serious or repeated misconduct. 7 | Awards & organizer decisions • Championship rings go to the winning team's eligible rostered players, up to the 6-player roster maximum. A new Easton Ghost softball bat is an additional prize opportunity; the selection method and eligibility must be announced separately. Sponsored by Rawlings/Easton. FINALIZE BEFORE DISTRIBUTING: 12U cutoff; bat standards; machine/count settings; time-limit procedure; bracket approval; late-arrival/forfeit policy; bat prize method; and cancellation/refund remedies if the 3-game guarantee cannot be delivered.
